Bell UH-1B Iroquois Walkaround

Bell UH-1B Iroquois N9-882 RAN Nowra 2014

This Huey is another of the birds on display at the outstanding FAA Museum, HMAS Albatross, Nowra. There is some conjecture as to whether the RAN machines should be classified as Bravo or Charlie models. Apparently they were a mix of the two. The rotor systems all appear to be of the B variety, but the fuselages and tails seem to be a mix.
