BELL UH-1H Iroquois A2-110 NVVM 2014
The National Vietnam Veteran's Museum is situated on Phillip Island, about an hour and a half's drive from Melbourne. A2-110 is on display there. A2-110 was pretty much the poster girl for both the RAAF and the Army. It seems whenever they needed a ship to photograph, 110 was there. I have seen pics in gloss green, plain dark green and camo in RAAF service and camo in Army service. She's been a gunship, armed up like a Bushranger, she's been a slick and I've even seen pics of her bathing, wearing floats! She certainly got around. I hope she gets some well-earned rest here at the museum, she's served us well.
