Fairey Firefly A.S.5/A.S.6 WJ109 RAN Nowra

Here is another of the beautifully preserved aircraft on display at the FAA Museum, Nowra. Interestingly there is no engine fitted, even at a museum of this calibre. The exhausts are just pipe welded to sheets of treadplate. I guess Griffons are hard to come by these days. Lack of engine notwithstanding, another exceptional presentation. These guys do such a great job.
