Around 2008 Singapore took delivery of its new main battle tanks, Leopard 2s. I was there in 2011 and they had a big military parade and demonstration over the road from our hotel. After the parade, I followed the track marks on the road and found the holding area where they were waiting for transport. Once the officer in charge was sure I wasn't going to blow any up, I was given pretty much free reign to photograph the outside of the vehicles. Here is the accompanying Armoured Recovery Vehicle.
