You can have Monster Trucks, so why not Monster Busses? There are a fleet of these 6x6 behemoths running glacier tours up onto the Columbia Icefields near Banff in Canada. We were told they were worth over $1m Canadian each. You'd expect for that outlay that they'd have some corrosion protection! They are very low geared so it takes a long time to get anywhere. The thing is, these things will get you almost anywhere. The low pressure tyres are used not only for traction but also to lessen the impact of the vehicle on the glacier. I want one.
