At the 2010 Tyabb Aerodrome Open Day the Historic Miltary Vehicle Club put on a display of their own. One of the exhibits was this very busy looking 106mm recoilless gun truck. Although it looks like a solid mounting, and even though it is classified as a recoilless weapon, the gun had to be demounted before firing. I beleive it was initially intended to fire the gun from the back of the Landy, but the body suffered so much damage it was not feasible. possiby because the body was aluminium, unlike the similarly-armed but metal-bodied US M151 Mutt jeeps.
