Leyland Scammell Contractor Tank Transporter Walkaround Gallery

Another of the vehicles on display at the Australian Army Museum, Bandiana is this Leyland Scammell Contracter prime mover with its Australian made 60 ton trailer and dolly combination. Two of these rigs were sent to Vietnam during the early 1970s to help move Centurion tanks around. I don't know if this was one of the two. The walkaro und has been taken around the Scammell first, then around the dolly and finally around the main trailer and then up under the middle working forward.
